Joy to the World
Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King!
Let every heart prepare Him room,
and heav’n and nature sing,
and heav’n and nature sing,
and heav’n, and heav’n and nature sing.
Up on the Housetop
Up on the housetop reindeer paws,
Out jumps good Old Santa Claus
Down through the chimney with lots of toys
For all the little good girls and boys.
Ho, Ho, Ho! Who wouldn’t go?
Ho, Ho, Ho! Who wouldn’t go?
Up on the housetop, click, click, click
Down through the chimney with good Saint Nick.
Jingle Bell Rock
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Snowin’ and blowin’ up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancin’ and prancin’ in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air
What a bright time, it’s the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go glidin’ in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jinglin’ feet
That’s the jingle bell
That’s the jingle bell
That’s the jingle bell rock
Silent Night
Silent night! Holy night! All is calm, all is bright
’round yon virgin mother and child!
Holy infant, so tender and mild,
sleep in heavenly peace, sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night! Holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight.
Glories stream from heaven afar,
heav’nly hosts sing, “Alleluia!
Christ the Savior is born!
Christ the Savior is born!”
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, had a very shiny nose,
and if you ever saw it, you could even say it glows.
All of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names;
they never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games.
Then one foggy Christmas Eve, Santa came to say:
“Rudolph, with your nose so bright, won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?”
Then how the reindeer loved him as they shouted out with glee,
“Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, You’ll go down in history.”
Deck the Halls
Deck the halls with boughs of holly Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
‘Tis the season to be jolly Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
Don we now our gay apparel Fa-la-la, la-la-la, la-la-la
Troll the ancient Yule-tide carol Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
Fast away the old year passes, Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Hail the new year lads and lasses, Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Sing we joyous altogether, Fa la la, la la la, la la la.
Heedless of the wind and weather, Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Jingle Bells
Jingle bells, jingle bells
jingle all the way.
Oh, what fun it is to ride
in a one horse open sleigh.
(repeat)
Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O’er the fields we go
Laughing all the way!
Bells on bobtail ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight!
Jingle bells, jingle bells
jingle all the way.
Oh, what fun it is to ride
in a one horse open sleigh.
(repeat)
Holly Jolly Christmas
Have a holly jolly Christmas
It’s the best time of the year
Now I don’t know if there’ll be snow
But have a cup of cheer
Have a holly jolly Christmas
And when you walk down the street
Say hello to friends you know
And everyone you meet
Oh-ho, the mistletoe
Is hung where you can see
Somebody waits for you
Kiss her once for me
Have a holly jolly Christmas
And in case you didn’t hear
Oh, by golly
Have a holly jolly Christmas this year
O Christmas Tree
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Your leaves are so unchanging.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Your leaves are so unchanging.
Your boughs so green in summer time
Stay bravely green in winter time.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Your leaves are so unchanging.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Your candles brightly glimmer.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Your candles brightly glimmer.
Such splendour in your shining light
recalls a star that shone one night.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
Your candles brightly glimmer.
Silver Bells
(Please join us for the refrain)
Silver bells, silver bells
It’s Christmas time in the city
Ring a ling, hear them ring
Soon it’ll be Christmas day
Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree
Rockin’ around the Christmas tree
At the Christmas party hop
Mistletoe hung where you can see
Every couple tries to stop
Rockin’ around the Christmas tree
Let the Christmas spirit ring
Later we’ll have some pumpkin pie
And we’ll do some caroling
You will get a sentimental feeling when you hear
Voices singing, let’s be jolly
Deck the halls with boughs of holly
Rockin’ around the Christmas tree
Have a happy holiday
Everyone dancin’ merrily
In the new old-fashioned way
Winter Wonderland
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?
In the lane, snow is glistening
It’s a beautiful sight; we’re happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland
Gone away is the bluebird
Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song, as we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend that he is Parson Brown
He’ll say “are you married?”, We’ll say “no man
But you can do the job when you’re in town”
Later on, we’ll conspire
As we dream by the fire
We’ll face unafraid
The plans that we’ve made
Walking in a winter wonderland
Frosty the Snowman
Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal
Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale, they say
He was made of snow but the children know
How he came to life one day
There must have been some magic in
That old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his head
He began to dance around
Oh, Frosty the snowman
Was alive as he could be
And the children say he could laugh and play
Just the same as you and me
Thumpety thump thump, thumpety thump thump
Look at Frosty go
Thumpety thump thump, thumpety thump thump
Over the hills of snow
Ooh Frosty the snowman
Knew the sun was hot that day
So he said, “Let’s run and we’ll have some fun
Now before I melt away.”
Down to the village
With a broomstick in his hand
Running here and there all around the square
Saying “catch me if you can!”
He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler “Stop!”
Oh, Frosty the snowman
Had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye, saying
“Don’t you cry, I’ll be back again someday.”
Thumpety thump thump, humpety thump thump
Look at Frosty go
Thumpety thump thump, thumpety thump thump
Over the hills of snow!
We Wish You a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
We with you a merry Christmas
And a happy new year
Glad tidings we bring
To you and your kin
Glad tidings for Christmas
And a happy new year
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
We with you a merry Christmas
And a happy new year!
