Volunteer

Friends of St. James Park welcomes new volunteers! Whether you are new to the neighbourhood or a long time resident, getting involved is a great way to meet people in our community. Consider joining any one of the following initiatives—we offer flexible time commitments, and the opportunity to build any number of initiatives from the ground up.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Events – Help organize events, big and small, for FSJP in the park. Let us know if you want to pitch in on an established event or if you have an idea of something new.
Fundraising – Help with fundraising ideas and efforts.
Social Media – Help with campaigns and posting content.
Newsletter – Assist by writing content (pitch us an idea!), editing, and creating campaigns in Mailchimp. Check out the links to past newsletters on our Resources page.
General – Not entirely sure how you want to help, but still want to get involved? We will keep your name on a list to help with ad-hoc initiatives, such as hosting an information booth.
